In the Netherlands we don’t really have summer school, so to do something else as being just lazy and watching netflix I made myself some summer goals. I always set goals for myself every so often, it really helps me to keep focused and to be honest it’s just fun to make plans and list and never do what’s on them. Oh procrastination my big friend.
Yoga every day of summer This januari I participated in a yoga for 30 days challenge which was amazing. I don't know why but life always seems to get in the way of my yoga practice. It would be lovely to do it every day though, so this summer I plan to spend more time on the mat.
Setting affirmations The more I learn about myself, the more I see that setting a positieve affirmation does wonders for me. I am the classic negative thinker and it helps to start the day with a positive word or affirmation.
Writing more in my gratitude journal This goes along with the previous goal, I find that keeping a gratitude journal really helps me to ground down and to see the world in a more positive way, cause even when things go wrong there is still so much beauty left in the world.
Learning languages This summer I want to improve my knowledge of languages. I would love to be able to speek different languages but in my day to day life I never seem to have the time to actually learn one.
Psychology and Biology Last but not least I want to know more about psychology and biology. As I'm starting a Psychology course next school year and I want to own a practice it seems smart to read some more about the subject before school starts in september.What are you're summer goals for this summer?
